The application is loaded with a pre-recoded sound libraries, which are useful as teaching aids or guidance while you’re listening to a patient. It allows you to record and display waveforms and spectrogram in real time. It makes use of iPhone’s multi-touch capability for ease of scrolling and zooming in and out. Of course, you’ll need to pair the iPhone or iPod with an electronic stethoscope in order to use the Thinklabs iPhone app to record what you want. You’ll also need an external Made for iPod / Works with iPhone audio input device with audio input jack (e.g Belkin TuneTalk) in order to connect the stethoscope to the iPod.
